The Solution Pricer acts as the financial focal point and business case analyst, working with IBM services consultants and technical solution managers, in the creation and articulation of price proposals for IT outsorcing / consultancy offers to customers. In this job role, IBM services pricers must translate complex, multi-year, multi-delivery tower technical solutions into a price stream to the customer, satisfying customer savings needs and IBM's financial objectives, and taking into account labor cost inflation, labor mix, and other financial parameters (such as currency risk and contract terms and conditions). This job role requires high level knowledge of IBM services and general financial principles.
This role must also be conversant in IBM's overall pricing processes, including pricing delegation rules, corporate review clip levels, and all appropriate business controls surrounding the pricing process.
High level of flexibility, strong communication skills, positive behaviour towards time pressure, passion to the business and good analytic skills are required to be successful in this job role.
Services pricing is a strategic area since this is all about generating future IBM Services Revenue and Profit.
Required
Bachelor's Degree
At least 1 year experience in Excel knowledge
At least 1 year experience in finance knowledge
English: Fluent
Italian: Fluent
